DEFINITIONS: |
Delayed Buffered |
To enter Phone Mode in Trunking mode, the radio-user keys in the individual phone system access number digits and the phone number digits from the keypad. Once the radio's PTT button is pressed, the Phone System access number digits along with the phone number digits are transmitted. To enter Phone Mode in Conventional mode, only the access number digits are sent in the first PTT press; once Phone System access is gained, the radio user must press PTT a second time in order for the radio-user entered phone number digits to be sent. |
Immediate Buffered |
When entering Phone Mode the radio automatically connects to the Phone System (for Conventional mode). Phone number digits are entered by the radio-user from the keypad. Once the PTT button is pressed the DTMF digits are then transmitted. |
Immediate Live |
When entering Phone Mode the radio automatically connects to the Phone System (for Conventional mode). The phone number digits are automatically transmitted as the DTMF keypad digits are radio-user pressed. |
